PURPOSE:To obtain a secondary electron multiplying material having the moderate volume resistivity and the enhanced counting rate's dependency of multiplier gain, by adding a particle-dispersive conductive agent into a high molecular composition which contains a molecule-dispersive conductive agent in the matrix. CONSTITUTION:A molecule-dispersive conductive agent such as the salts of 7,7, 8,8-tetracyanoquino-dimethane or the like is made to be contained in a macromolecule whose secondary electron emission ratio is great like polyvinyl chloride or the like, thus a high molecular composition whose volume resistivity is 10<8>-10<11>OMEGA.cm can be obtained. Further, a particle-dispersive conductive agent such as carbon black or the like is added into said composition and kneaded well in order to obtain the captioned secondary electron multiplying high molecular material. This material has excellent molding processability, good heat resistance and also small temperature coefficient of resistance. |
