PURPOSE:To calculate and display automatically the necessary number of stacks when a source program of a dedicated CPU is converted into an object program and executed by generating the source program in high class language. CONSTITUTION:The source program is read by one line firstly, the syntax of the source input is analyzed, and necessary processing is performed. When the source input is the start of a function, a maximum value counter and a current value counter are cleared and an object required to start the function is outputted to process one line. When the source input is a local variation declaration, the number of necessary stacks corresponding to the type of the declaration is denoted as N and a subroutine NSTACK is called. The parameter N is added to the contents of the current value counter to update the current in-use number of stacks. Then the maximum number of stacks is compared with the contents of the current value counter and when the current value is larger than the maximum value, the contents of the maximum value counter is updated to the current value. |
