PURPOSE:To accelerate a running speed in time of driving on a flat, by shifting each shaft of driving wheels and tolling wheels of a caterpillar, while making them so as to be transformable into a circular wheel-form caterpillar. CONSTITUTION:A mobile machine body 1 is provided with a traveling device consisting of each driving wheel 3 capable of shifting its shaft, each rolling wheel 4 and each caterpillar 2. In case of going up and down on a staircase or running on an uneven ground, the caterpillar is driven by the driving wheel 3 and the rolling wheel 4, and in time of running on a flat, each shaft of these driving and rolling wheels is shifted and constituted into each circular wheel- form caterpillar 2a whereby these circular wheel-form caterpillars 2a are rotated as conventional wheels, thus running takes place. Therefore, in time of running on the flat, a running speed is well accelerated. |
