PURPOSE:To enable to directly apply a commercial power source voltage by partly shortcircuiting a main magnetic circuit of a motor and raising the impedance of an exciting coil. CONSTITUTION:A disc-shaped rotor 1 is alternately magnetized N, S, N, S,... radially from the center on the back surface and opposed to a stator pole teeth plate 2. The plate 2 has shortcircuiting pole teeth 9, and formed of an iron plate together with other common pole teeth. The plate 2 is bent at both ends in U shape, calked to or bonded by welding to a stator yoke 3. A central shaft 5 is rotatably inserted to a bearing 4. A thrust washer 6 supports a thrust force absorbed to the plate 2 by the rotor 1. An exciting coil 8 is wound on a coil frame 7. |
