The invention relates to an electrode which is used in electrometallurgical processes, especially as an anode when refining copper for the purpose of precipitating copper on starting blacks for manufacturing starting sheets or cathode products. The electrode is characterised by a continuous, planar construction with an upper part, a bottom and two vertical sides with two complete and separate legs which protrude from the bottom and are located adjacent to each of the said vertical sides. <IMAGE> |
