<p>PURPOSE:To conserve labor in operation, by enabling the outflow and inflow of a liquid or sludge between a denitrification tank and a submerged nitration tank or between a solid-liquid separation tank and the submerged nitration tank by air lift effect. CONSTITUTION:Waste water supplied to a denitrification tank 1 is denitrified herein and flowed into the falling flowline A of the inner pipe 4 of a submerged nitration tank 2. Subsequently, the treated waste water is flowed into the rising flowline B in an outer pipe 5 from the lower part of the inner pipe 4 and receives the supply of oxygen-containing gas from an air diffusion apparatus 7 to be raised by air lift effect and is recirculated by the flowlines A, B through a flowline 6. Herein, an org. component is oxidized and ammonia nitrogen is nitrated. A part of this treated water is returned to the tank 1 through a flowline 9 and the other part is flowed into a solid-liquid separation tank 3. In the next step, the activated sludge separated in the tank 3 is returned to the falling flowline A through a flowline 12 while the liquid is discharged from of the tank.</p> |
