PURPOSE:To make use of an advantage of a rivet, to prevent an electrical incomplete contact, and to make a titled member safe and economical by expanding a center hole provided on the skirt part of a metallic rivet, by a strap toward the outside from the inside. CONSTITUTION:Two metallic members to be painted 1, 2 to which a hole 5 is made in advance and also painting is performed are overlapped so that the hole 5 is superposed, and a rivet is made to pass through this hole. The rivet 4 has a sharp projecting part 4a on a lower face 4' of the neck of the head part, and has a center hole 4d in the axial direction of the rivet 4 in its skirt part 4b. As for the rivet 4 which has been made to pass through the hole 5, a jig and a tool are pressed against its head part 4t, and the tip of a strap 6 whose tip is conical is fitted and inserted into the center hole 4d provided on the shirt part 4b. The metallic members to be painted 1, 2 are joined by hitting this heel block 6. |
