The invention refers to a holding device for an electrical armature comprised of a hollow tube (11) designed for an electric cable, which in one end has a lamp holder and in the other end an electric plug. The tube (11) is, along its entire length, equipped with a slit (15), which is wider than the cable, so that the cable can be brought into the tube via the slit without interfering in the electrical connections at the ends of the cable. At a straight passage in the tube (11) the slit (15) has widened sections (16, 17, 18) which is suited to projections (22) in the wall fastener (20, 21), so that the projection (22) can be inserted into the tube via the widened sections. The wall fastener has an upper stem part (23) that is narrower than the slit (15) so that stem part (23) glides into the slit and serves as a guide when the tube is pressed down after insertion of the projection (22) in the widened parts. A lower stem part (24) of wall fasteners is wider than the slits (15) and serves as a stop when the tube (11) is lowered by going against the cross sections (25, 26) between the upper ends of the widened sections. The tube with lamp holder is thereby locked in the desired height, which is determined by which of the widened sections (16, 17, 18) is chosen for collaboration with the wall fastener.<IMAGE> |
