PURPOSE:To shorten the original eject time and the eject time of the first copy by carrying originals in an exposure speed during exposure of originals and carrying originals in a high speed during operations other than exposure. CONSTITUTION:When an original has the surface turned down and is inserted to a feed-in roll 5, the feed-in roll 5 is driven by original detection of a feed-in sensor 12, and the original is sent to a circular carrying path 2 along an insertion path 1 and is carried in a high speed. When an exposure point sensor 12 just before an exposure position detects the original, the carrying speed is switched to the exposure speed. After the original passes the exposure point sensor 12, the original is carried for a certain length by the counted value of an encoder provided on a carrying motor 6, and exposure is terminated. At this time, the carrying speed is switched from the exposure speed to a high speed again, and the original is carried to an original eject switching gate 7 or is carried to the exposure point sensor 12 for the second copy. Thus, the original eject time and the eject time of the first copy are shortened. |
