PURPOSE:To firmly join the first and the second material pieces by covering the main body part of a slidable lip piece constituted of the first material piece by the second material piece. CONSTITUTION:The first material piece 10 formed into annular form from acrylic rubber is superposed onto the radial-direction part of a reinforcing ring 1, and further the second material piece 11 which is made of fluorocarbon rubber and formed into annular form having a diameter smaller than that of the first material piece 10 is superposed. The material piece 10 is allowed to flow into the outside of the cylindrical part of the reinforcing ring 1 and into a molding cavity, and the material piece 11 is allowed to flow into the molding cavity. Since both molds 5 and 6 are heated simultaneously with the molding through pressurization, the first and the second material can be bridged, and the material piece 10 forming a slidable lip piece and the material piece 11 forming a film with said lip piece can be firmly joined. |
