PURPOSE:To prevent a rolling material from swelling out immediately before a pinch roll, and to wind it tightly by using together a pinch roll attached to a down-coiler of the upstream of the down-coiler, when winding a thick or high tension material. CONSTITUTION:After a hot rolling material has passed through a down-coiler of the upstream side, it is set to a pinch state by bringing a pinch roll 20A and 20B of the down-coiler of the upstream side into contact with each other. Also, when the hot rolling material passes through a pinch roll 20 of a down-coiler of the downstream side, it is set to a pinch state by bringing the pinch roll 20A and 20B into contact with each other. Subsequently, a rolling material 28 is guided toward a mandrel 14 by a deflector 24, and wound around the mandrel 14 by the cooperation of a horn roll 16 and the mandrel 14. |
