<p>PURPOSE:To attain a biological deodorizing of the high efficiency by injecting the air contg. odor into a bottom of a hollow cylinder provided to the inside of a deep- layer reaeration tank and bringing it into contact with the high-concn. activated sludge. CONSTITUTION:A deep-layer reaeration tank 9 incorporated with the hollow cylinders 2 having the opened upper and lower ends is established more, and the activated sludge settled in a thickener 10 is sent thereinto, and the air contg. concentrated offensive odor of a night soil introducing tank or the like is aerated through an aeration device 4 provided to a bottom of the hollow cylinders 2. The dissolving efficiency of O2 in the soln. is increased by a turbulent flow caused in the inside of the hollow cylinders 2, and the fine division of the air foams and the activated sludge overflowed from the hollow cylinders 2 is not aerated excepting the hollow cylinders, therefore the precipitation inhibition due to the ascent of the aerated air foams is eliminated and the precipitation is accelerated by the descent of the overflowed water and the bottom of the reaeration tank 9 is made to a high MLSS state. The odor components contained in the odor-contg. air blown from the aeration device 4 are adsorbed, absorbed and decomposed with the high-concn. activated sludge in the presence of a soln. highly dissolved with O2. The sludge after the reaeration is sent into an aeration tank 6.</p> |
