PURPOSE:To clutch/declutch reliably by arranging a belleville spring to be pressed between a piston and retaining plate between the retaining plate and clutch plate. CONSTITUTION:Under clutched state, a belleville spring 18 will hook to the innerdiameter section of clutch drum 10, and upon stoppage of said spring 18, the piston 12 is returned by the spring force 14 to the initial position to form a gap equal to the movement of piston 12 between a drive plate 24 and driven plate 26 thus to remove frictional force. Upon re-application of hydraulic pressure on the piston 12 under this state, the drive plate 24 and driven plate 26 are pressed between said spring 18 and piston 12 to produce frictional force thus to enable clutch/declutch even when smooth motion of belleville spring 18 is blocked. |
