PURPOSE:To make it possible to weld an outer skin cloth to a forming core by one welding step, by welding and securing the outer skin cloth in the outer skin attaching recess section of the forming core with a spreading magnification in accordance with the opening of slits formed in the section of the cloth which is concealed. CONSTITUTION:An ornamental outer skin cloth 12 is welded and secured uniformly to the passenger's side surface 10a of a forming core 10 by a high-frequency welder, including a recess 11 formed in a substantially center section of the surface 10a. At this time, slits 14 previously formed in the cloth is opened so that the outer skin cloth 12 is drawn in, and therefore, the outer skin cloth 12 may be welded and secured with a curve surface spreading magnification along the inside shape of the recess 11. Further, the formed sections of the slits 14 are concealed by a separate armrest 13, etc. so that the slits 14 are invisible from the outside, and therefore, the external appearance is not deteriorated. |
