<p>PURPOSE:To simply obtain the grain rich in natural feeling, by forming an embossed regular grain pattern by pressing the surface of wooden veneer by an emboss mold provided with a large number of recessed grooves on the basis of the regular grain of natural wood used as a master and filling the recessed grooves formed to the surface of the wooden veneer with a colorant for a summerwood part. CONSTITUTION:An emboss mold 1 provided with a large number of recessed grooves 2 in parallel at predetermined intervals is formed on the basis of the regular grain of natural wood used as a master and the springwood part of the regular grain is set to the recessed grooves 12 while the summerwood part thereof is set to ridges 3. This mold is fixed to a press platen so as to direct the embossed surface thereof downwardly and the surface of wooden veneer 4 is pressed by said mold to form an embossed regular pattern to the surface thereof. In the next step, a summerwood part colorent is cast into the recessed grooves 4a of the wooden veneer 4 to express summerwood parts having a dark color and the sharp grain is expressed along with the light colored springwood parts of the ridge parts 4b.</p> |
