PURPOSE:To provide substantial mechanical strength to honeycomb-shaped metallic materials for supporting a large-sized material to be worked and passing through of cutting smoke, auxiliary gas, etc. and to permit easy carrying and assembling of said materials and matching of the height thereof by forming said materials into units each having a height adjusting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A honeycomb-shaped Al material is cut and developed to a standard length and thereafter each sheet is inserted into a unit frame which is assembled of bottom plates 14, 14' and side plates 15, 15' into a box shape by means of screws 16. A height adjusting mechanism consisting of screws 18, 18' worked with internal screw threads 17 is provided to the plates 14, 14'. Even if, for example, the working error or inclination of the frame 13 arises, such error or inclination can be absorbed bi the difference D in the height of the screws 18, 18' by adjusting the screws 18, 18' and the surface A' can be adjusted and held uniformly in any position with respect to the laser focus. The development of plural pieces of such unitized supports to a long sized shape is possible and the attachment and detachment thereof are easy. |
