PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a copier by providing two blank guides to be always urged close to a paper feeder removably attached to a main body of the copier and setting movably the respective blank guides to the blank size along with the putting-in-and-out of the paper feeder. CONSTITUTION:When a paper feeder 1 is inserted into a paper inserting port of a copier body A, two blank guides 3, 4 are pulled close to each other respectively by tension springs 13, 14 so that a copy blank B is held by the respective blank guides 3, 4, the side and rear walls 1a, 1b of the paper supply unit 1. Then, by the actions of two cable locks 20, 21 provided on the copier body A are maintained constant the tensile forces of the respective tension springs 13, 14 to ensure a predetermined dimension of the copy blank B through two cables 15, 16. On the other hand, when the paper supply unit 1 is withdrawn from the copier body A, the respective blank guides 3, 4 are respectively pulled by the cables 15, 16 and spaced from each other. Thus, the copy blank B can be easily replenished. |
