PURPOSE:To reduce the operating noise by continuing the exciting drive state in the specific order to select the exciting order of less noise in response to a drive system. CONSTITUTION:When a changeover switch 6 is turned OFF in a drive device which is preferable in the exciting order of 1-phase and 2-phase in noise, an original read out is shifted after a pulse step motor 2 is excited if the final excitation is executed in the 1-phase. Thus, the excitation drive is performed always in the 1-phase and 2-phase in case of reading out the original. On the other hand, in the drive which is preferable in the exciting order of 2-phase and 1-phase, a change over switch 6 is closed, and the original is read out directly when the final excitation is the 1-phase, and after one pulse is excited when the final excitation is the 2-phase. |
