PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of metallic materials to be used by filling a hollow formed by bending a metallic thin plate with plastics surrounding the joint, foaming and unifying to make a lattice member, or joining plural members similarly. CONSTITUTION:Bent metallic thin plates 1, 1 are opposed to form a hollow, and plastics for forming a core body is filled so as to surround connected joint parts 2, 2 and foamed to obtain a unified lattice member made of metallic thin plates. Or, a window hole 12 is provided in the joint part 7 of the second member 6 joined by the first member 5, and plastics 4 is injected. When plastics 4 filled in the first and second members 5, 6 is foamed, a thin bar 9 is fixed by the plastic core body 4, and the first member 5 and second member 6 are joined tightly. By this way, the quantity of metallic materials to be used can be reduced remarkably while keeping the same strength as that of conventional members. |
