PURPOSE:To uniformly apply any preset tension to a filament by providing a mechanism for applying tension to the filament passing between a pair of pressure surfaces by frictional force and a mechanism for lessening fluctuation in tension applied to the filament. CONSTITUTION:A filament 1 having a tension of (t) introduced in an apparatus is first passed between a pair of pressure surfaces 3, 4 to be under a tension of T. At this time, while one pressure surface 3 is fixed, the other pressure surface 4 can be moved by urging force of a spring 10 and weight of an arm 9 to apply pressure force F to a filament 1. The arm 9 serves as a lever, the pressure surface 3 is disposed near its fulcrum 2, and guides 7a-7c for the filament 1 are mounted on the other end 8 of the arm. Subsequently, the filament 1 is passed through guides 5, 6a-6c and the above guides 7a-7c to be fed out to the outside of the apparatus. Thus, any preset tension can be uniformly applied to the filament 1. |
