PURPOSE:To reliably coat varnish and to improve the workability by coating varnish over the entire inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a material to be treated while sequentially holding the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the material to be treated by a holding chuck. CONSTITUTION:A bore pin 4 is projected from the front surface of a holding plate 3 and inserted into a stator coil so that the pin 4 is contacted with the inner peripheral surface of the stator coil of a material 11 to be treated, and held. Then, a holding chuck 1 is rotated to impregnate varnish 12 by dropping the varnish 12 from a dropping nozzle 6 to the peripheral surface while rotating the material 11 around its own axis. Then, the pin 1 is preliminarily dried, returned, the material 11 is held at the outer peripheral surface by outer peripheral pins 2, a coating cylinder on which varnish is coated on the peripheral surface is inserted into the material 11, and the varnish is coated over the entire inner peripheral surface of the material 11. |
