<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly obtain hot water of high temperature by providing at a hot water conduit a damper which opens the hot water conduit at high temperature and is formed by a shape memory alloy, said hot water conduit leading hot water heated by a heat exchanger to the upper part of the main body of a hot water storage tank. CONSTITUTION:When a burner or the like is operated, water within a heating cylinder 5 is heated by the heat exchanger 4. Upon this occasion, since the hot water conduit 6 is blocked by a damper 8, water within the heating cylinder 5 is continuously heated until the water within the heating cylinder 5 assumes a predetermined high temperature. When the temperature within the heating cylinder 5 reaches a predetermined temperature, the damper 8 formed by a shape memory alloy is bent in L-shape, and the hot water conduit 6 is opened and high temperature hot water flows out toward the upper part of the hot water storage tank 1.</p> |
