PURPOSE:To attract and take up each glass sheet being transported on a transport line using a suction cup, by furnishing it in such a way as slidable with the frame in the direction of sheet transportation. CONSTITUTION:An attraction device 5 is advanced along a rail 3 to right over a transport system to be then sunk along a stem 4, and thereby the undersurface of each suction cup 8 is put in contact with the oversurface of a glass sheet 2 being transported on a roller 1. The sheet glass 2 is attracted and held with suction cups 8 by the neg. pressure applied to the undersurface of the suction cups 8 through the action of a vacuum pum via hoses 12, 11, 9. At this time the suction cups 8 slide along a groove 7 in the direction of sheet transportation, wherein the relative movement between the suction cups 8, the sheet glass 2 and the rotational surface of roller 1 is absorbed. At the same time the glass sheet 2 is heaved above the roller 1 by lifting the attraction device 5 to serve, for ex., for sampling test. |
