A device for locking a wheelchair designed for immobilising a rolling object in particular in an automobile is constituted by two symmetric sub-assemblies 5, each comprising a bracket 8, 10, 11, 12 mounted pivotally and so as to slide vertically on a base, and whose telescopic arm 11, 12 carries a guiding element 16 forming a lateral and longitudinal stop, and a hook 17 for manipulated locking via an actuator fixed on a support 23 solid with the arm 11, 12. The rolling object 1 engages between the two sub-assemblies 5, its front wheel uprights 4 guided by the pieces 16 which abut laterally and forwards, and the hooks 17 which lock them to the rear by a command of the actuator. <IMAGE>
