PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of shavings by containing a specific amount of a solid lubricant having a specific average size in an electro-conductive resistance layer. CONSTITUTION:0.2-110wt% of a solid lubricant with an average particle size of 0.1-1.5mum is contained in the electro-conductive resistance layer 2 of an electro-conductive transfer recording sheet. As the solid lubricant, an inorg. compound such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide or tungsten disulfide or an org. compound such as polytetrafluoroethylene or polyacetal having an average particle size of 0.1-1.5mum is used. As the particle size of the solid lubricant becomes smaller and the dispersion thereof becomes more uniform, the generation of shavings from the resistance layer is reduced. In order to improve dispersibility, a binder resin such as polyacetal having a polar group or a vinyl chloride/ vinyl acetate resin is pref. used and each component constituting the resistance layer is applied to a support layer after dissolved or dispersed in a solvent. When thermal transfer recording is performed by a electro-conductive head, shavings of the resistance layer is reduced to a large extent and image speckles can be almost eliminated. |
