<p>PURPOSE:To enable paper sheets to be continuously supplied with zero pitch when the paper sheets separated by a separating member are transferred by a conveying member, by taking out the next paper sheet from a contaniner while the neiborhood of the rear end of the paper sheet is maintained in contact with the separating member. CONSTITUTION:A paper feeder capable of continuously supplying a plurality of blanks with zero pitch has a take-out roller 303 disposed above a copy blank container 301 to take out the uppermost blank Q and a supply roller 307 for supplying forward the taken-out copy blank Q. Also, it has a separating member 308 for exerting a braking force on the blank Q supplied by the roller 307 from a position opposed to the supply roller 307 to prevent overlapping supply and a pair of conveying rollers 24 for transferring the separated blank Q. And while the neighborhood of the rear end of the blank Q being transferred by the pair of conveying rollers 24 is maintained in contact with the separating member 308, the take-out roller 303 is controllably driven to take out the next blank Q from the container 301.</p> |
