PURPOSE:To automatically improve a servo characteristic when the inertial moment of a load is varied by varying the gain of a speed control system so that a deviation between a lamplike speed command signal and the speed signal of a motor falls within the prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:An inverter controller 14 controls an inverter 13 in response to a deviation between a speed command signal Nref and a speed feedback signal N. The gain KN of a speed amplifier is predetermined from parameters such as a gain of a speed control system, or an inertial moment of a motor in a microcomputer 15 in the initial state. When a lamplike speed command signal Nref is applied, the microcomputer 15 increases the gain KN of a speed amplifier when a deviation between the speed command signal Nref and the speed feedback signal N is the upper limit value or higher, and decreases it when it is the lower limit value or lower. |
