PURPOSE:To improve the assembling performance thus to produce a light weight a molded ceiling having high rigidity, by molding the lining of car ceiling such that an iron core frame, pad and skin are vacuum molded to form a bag with skin at the rear side of frame. CONSTITUTION:A skin 1 of polyvinyl chloride and blowing polyethylene pad 2 are laminated 3 through intrusion molding in process (a). Then an iron core frame 4 is manufactured in accordance to the shape of roof to be applied on the pad 2 of laminate 3. Then it is heated in process (c) by a heater 5 to bring said pad 2 into semi-fused condition thereafter, it is vacuum sucked by metal dies 6, 7 in process (d) to adhere the pad 2 to the iron core frame 4. Thereafter, in process (e), the skin 1 is folded to the rear side of said frame 4 to be contained in a skin 1 bag and a welding margin 8 is thermally welded in process (f). |
