PURPOSE:To prevent gas leak and permit the substitution for the conventional suspension apparatus by dividing the inside by an expandable partitioning film and arranging a hollow rod having an orifice into an oil cylinder and dividing and forming an oil accommodation part and a compressed-gas accommodation part. CONSTITUTION:When a hollow rod 10 is applied with a force in the direction to be pushed into a cylinder 3, the oil in an oil chamber 4 flows into an orifice 11 and the oil accommodation part 28 of the hollow rod 10 and expands a partitioning film 25 by the inflow portion and compresses the gas in a gas accommodation part 29, and buffer function is developed by the repulsive force. When the hollow rod 10 is extended, the partitioning film 25 contracts on the contrary. The spring constant can be reduced by allowing the gas accommodation part 38 of a subactuator and the gas accommodation part 29 to communicate each other through an opening and closing selector valve 47. Thus, gas leak is prevented, and the substitution performance for the conventional start suspension can be secured. |
