A method of moulding an article, e.g. a paint container, of the kind having a body with an internal chamber includes the steps of moulding a first body part (10), separately moulding a second part (13), assembling the first and second body parts (10, 13), moulding a third body part in contact with the first (10) and second body (13) parts to secure the parts (10, 13) together. The moulding apparatus comprises tool members (21 - 24), (21) and (23) being rotatable about the axis A. After body parts (10, 13) have been separately injection moulded as shown in the top half of Figure 2 the tool members (21) - (24) are moved apart and (21) and (23) are rotated 180 DEG to the bottom half Figure 2 position in which body parts (10, 13) are placed in contact by a ram (46) and the third body part is then injection moulded onto body parts (10, 13). <IMAGE> |
