PURPOSE:To produce a secondary cell with high charge/discharge characteristics by specifying the diameter of particles of titanium sulfide or copper and titanium sulfide compound. CONSTITUTION:In a secondary cell consisting of a positive electrode 1 whose main constituent is titanium sulfide or copper and titanium sulfide compound, a negative electrode 3 whose main constituent is metallic copper, and Cu<+> ion conductive solid electrolyte 2, the maximum diameter of particles of titanium sulfide or copper and titanium sulfide compound is specified to be less than 77mum. Thus, the conditions suitable for shift of Cu during charge/discharge are made, and the solid electrolyte secondary cell with high charge/discharge characteristics can be realized. |
