PURPOSE:To surely operate a main valve for the rotor of an air motor so that erroneous starting may be prevented, by controlling the main valve with the use of a mechanical valve which is actuated in association with the back and forth movement of a piston. CONSTITUTION:A relay valve 105 is opened by energizing a solenoid coil 109, and a piston in a piston section 107 is jumped out while an air motor 106 is rotated at a low rotational speed. As a result, a main valve in the relay valve 105 is opened to rotate the air motor 106 at a high rotational speed in order to start an internal combustion engine. With this arrangement the compressed air for opening and closing the main valve for the rotor of the motor and the compressed air for advancing the piston are made independent from each other so that the opening and closing of the main valve may be surely made, thereby erroneous operation may be prevented. |
