<p>The invention implements an endothermic physical transformation such as the evaporation of a low point boiling liquid (4, 22) or the hydration of a salt (13, 15) to cool an object without the need for an outer cold source such as an ice-box, a refrigerator or a cellar. It may be applied particularly to the freshening of beverages (2), isothermal transports of perishable foodstuff, the hardening of suppositories (19) which have softened after they have been stored at a high temperature. The endothermal transformations proposed in the present invention are particularly the evaporation of light hydrocarbons, halogenated or not (4, 22) and the hydration of salts (13, 15,), for example ammonium nitrate.</p> |
