An earth lead connecting terminal for cap-shaped supporting rails, having a terminal body which preferably bridges over the capped rail integrally, and if required is arranged in the insulating housing of a multi-level terminal, the earth-lead terminal being located outside the limb width of the supporting rail, and the terminal screw of the earth-lead terminal simultaneously producing the mechanical clamping retention on the supporting rail, it being supported on the terminal body of a two-armed terminal rocker whose outer terminal arm forms the arm for the earth lead, which arm is acted on by the terminal screw, while the inner terminal arm engages under the edge limb of the cap-shaped supporting rail.
