PURPOSE:To promote a device to be formed in a compact size, by extending an intake pipe outside a fan cover, interposing a carburetor in a half way of the intake pipe and positioning an air cleaner in a corner space. CONSTITUTION:An intake pipe 13 is connected to an intake port 12 opened to one side face 11 parallel to an output shaft 2 of the engine main unit 1. This intake pipe 13 is extended outside a fan cover 24 further in the direction crossing at a right angle with the output shaft 2 through a corner space 14. A carburetor 7 is interposed in a half way of the intake pipe 13 and an air cleaner 8 is mounted in the corner space 14. By this arrangement, a size in the direction crossing at a right angle with the output shaft 2 can be formed as small as possible, in the case of a generator device Z. In such way, the device can be formed in a compact size. |
