The invention relates to a pivot mounting for seats, in particular vehicle seats of caravans or the like. On a floor-side base plate 5 which can be attached to the floor 4 of the vehicle, a carrying arm 6 of a seat swivelling device 7 is mounted so as to be capable of rotating about a vertical axis 8. The carrying arm 6 of the seat swivelling device 7 is connected at its end section facing away from the bearing 9 of the base plate 5 to one end section 14 of a swivel arm 12 so as to be capable of rotating about a vertical axis 15. At the other end section 13 of the swivel arm 12 a further base plate 16 is rotatably mounted on which a seat 3 can be attached (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
