PURPOSE:To install a large-sized generator, by installing a turning shaft of a drive pulley for generator driving in a crankcase cover, while coupling the turning shaft with a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A driving device of an outer generator for a small automobile is set up at the outside of a crankcase 3. A drive pulley 7 is set up in an outer end part of a turning shaft 6 while a joint 8 in the inner end part, respectively. Turning power in the crankshaft 4 makes the generator rotate via the joint 8, the drive pulley and a V-belt 9. Thus, since bending stress due to tension in the belt will not act on the crankshaft 4, durability is securable and, what is more, a large-sized generator can be installed. |
