PURPOSE:To increase the property of molding, use an economical iron mandrel, reduce the weight of a filament, and improve resistance to vibration by comprising an electrode filament with an alloy made of tungusten and molybdenum. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil is formed by winding a strand composed of an alloy made of tungusten and molydbenum around an iron mandrel and is annealed. Then a secondary coil is formed by winding this primary coil around an iron secondary mandrel and is then formed into a filament by annealing, cutting, and washing it with an acid to remove the mandrel. This filament is connected to a mount stem and is coated with emitter material and then is built in a fluorescent lamp. As a result, as compared with the conventional lamp, this lamp can stand comparison with it in characteristics and life span. Besides, the weight of the filament can be reduced and resistance to vibration can be improved sharply and then emitter exfoliation can also be reduced. |
