A fuse base of the DIAZED or NEOZED type, a threaded link (2) and the base rail (5) being mounted on an insulating frame (1) without screws. The threaded link (2) is mounted on the insulating frame (1) from the inside and/or from the outside by means of attachments, openings or bends which are made on the threaded part or flange part of the threaded link (2), or are mounted in the depressions (9), bulges or attachments which are formed by means of the flange part itself or its extension on the insulating frame (1). The base rail (5) of a strip-mounted fuse is mounted obliquely in a depression on one side by means of a depression which is provided on the rear part of the fuse base, as a result of which it can move laterally in a lower depression which is located on the other side, in that it remains supported at its two edges on bulges, while a spring or the like prevents the rail (5) entering the depression. The base rail of a single base is mounted either from the inside or outside, in that it is locked in the depression of the insulating frame (1) by means of a tongue or a plurality of tongues. <IMAGE>
