PURPOSE:To obtain a fibrous or sheet material useful as filter material, having rough surface and multi-cellular structure, etc. inexpensively, making fine processing and large deformation processing possible, by forming a shaped material on a material to be sprayed by flame spray coating, eliminating the material to be sprayed. CONSTITUTION:A material for flame spray coating such as metal, ceramic, etc. is sprayed and shaped on a material to be sprayed such as nonwoven fabric, etc., having preferably thickness and surface roughness of several -tens mum unevenness pitch, in a high-temperature fluid such as plasma, etc. by flame spray coating. The relative velocity of the high-temperature fluid to the material to be sprayed based on the surface of the material to be sprayed of the central axis of the high-temperature fluid is preferably 0.1-100m/sec, preferably 0.5-20m/sec. The material to be sprayed is then removed by combustion, melting, sublimation, dissolution with a solvent or decomposition with a chemical agent. |
