PURPOSE:To enable to operate a light emitting diode by connecting a light emitting diode chip, a rectifying diode chip, and a resistor in series, and containing them in a vessel and directly connecting them with an AC power source. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting diode 5 and a silicon rectifying diode 3 are connected forward in series, a current limiting resistor 3 is connected in series, and are contained in a vessel 7. The element of 2-terminals which include the diode 5 contained in the vessel 7 is connected directly with an AC power source and fired. For example, the chip 5 is mounted, and the chip 5 is mounted at the center of the section of the vessel 7. |
