The invention relates to a mould core for the production of injection mouldings with undercuts in which mould core a control pin (1) having a polygonal cross-section is provided around its circumference with relatively large and relatively small core segments (5, 6) and a dismantling device is provided, by which means the relatively small core segments can be pushed together within the relatively large core segments when the control pin (1) is withdrawn. It is desirable here if the dismantling device between the control pin and the core segments is removed. This is achieved by the contact surfaces (3, 4) between the control pin (1) and the core segments (5, 6) being in each case substantially rectilinear widthwise and at least one radially acting pressure spring (11) being inserted between each core segment and a moulded part (14, 15) receiving the mould core. When the control pin (1) and the core segments (5, 6) are withdrawn relative to one another, the pressure springs (11) press the core segments against the contact surfaces of the control pin and thus the core segments radially inwards. <IMAGE>
