发明名称 SENSING DEVICE FOR MISPLACED BELT IN BELT SANDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of a sanding belt and occurrence of fire accident by energizing a follower member installed coaxially with a roller, on which the sanding belt is loaded, in the opposite direction to the belt, by sensing the belt end using this follower member, and thereby enhancing the operational stability. CONSTITUTION:When a sanding belt 16 is misplaced during running on its track aside onto either side to have caused dislocation of the belt end from the edge of a guide roller 12, the belt end attains the receipt face a of a follower member 20, and the wear force produced thereby will rotate the follower member 20 in the same rotational direction. When this follower member 20 has rotated for a specific angle, an actuator piece 25 confronts a close switch 26, which will emit a signal to put a steering roller 15 in eccentricity in the opposite direction. This sensing signal is transmitted to a solenoid valve via a control circuit, and the valve changes over the operating direction of a pneumatic cylinder to modify the bely running into the right track by pushing it in the opposite direction, i.e. in the direction moving apart from the follower member 20. Thus sensing of belt end is made with a follower member to provide a high operational stability, which should contribute to suppression of risk for accident occurrence.
