PURPOSE:To facilitate steering at start by providing the stop decision means of a motor, steering position decision means, and setting means that sets the preset position of a steering mechanism and setting the steering mechanism to the preset position at start. CONSTITUTION:A potentiometer 1 is provided as a steering position decision means generating signal voltage that indicates the direction of a steering wheel and a keyswitch 2 is provided as the stop decision means of a motor. When the keyswitch 2 is ON, the output signals of the potentiometer 1 are compared with two reference values in a wind comparator 4 within a control circuit 3. The reference values of the comparator 4 can be set to the upper and lower bound reference values by adjusting a shunt resistor 4. In accordance with the result of the comparison in the comparator 4, a motor 8 is controlled through a driving circuit and a steering mechanism is rotated reversibly. On the other hand, when the keyswitch 2 is OFF, the steering mechanism is rotated up to the neutral position and is awaited at this position. |
