An intra-anal applicator apparatus for pasty or liquid medicaments comprises a tapering conical applicator firmly connected to a supply container for the substance. An actuating device enables the substance to be expelled from the container through the applicator and out through outlet slits or holes. In one embodiment the container is a tube formed in one piece of plastics with the tapering applicator.
