A filter cloth is secured and sealed into grooves between filter segments using wedge-shaped sealing bars with soft sides, held in place by bolting. Used in rotating drum or table filters in which the surface is divided into segments. System provides more secure sealing and smooth filter cloth surface than conventional banding or packing methods. Less time is required for cloth removal and replacement. |
