<p>PURPOSE:To avoid an insertion mistake of a cassette and to ensure the stable positioning with cassettes of various sizes by pressing a cassette to its loading position with a press-contact plate energized by a spring when a cassette holder moves vertically and horizontally. CONSTITUTION:A guide groove 48 on the bottom surface of a cassette 45 is engaged with a projected guide groove 22. Then the cassette 45 is inserted with no vertical gap formed between a bottom plate 17 and a press-contact plate 24. Thus no insertion mistake is produced for the cassette 45. A cassette holder is moved down to the loading position along an L-shaped guide groove 32 via a pair of right and left guide rolls 20. In this case, the rolls 20 are engaged with detaining bars 42a and 42b and therefore the plate 24 is pulled by a spring 38 and presses the cassette 45. The bottom part 45b of the cassette 45 is engaged selectively on plural positioning pins 49 to secure the well-balanced pressure of the plate 24 despite different sizes of cassettes. Thus the vertical size between the plates 17 and 24 is reduced, and such a thin and simple structure attains the cost reduction.</p> |
