<p>PURPOSE:To increase the tape take-up torque by setting a transmission wheel between a drive wheel and a follower wheel for revolution of reel shaft in a rapid traverse mode in order to restrict the slip function. CONSTITUTION:A drive wheel 6 is pressed to the lower surface side of a follower wheel 1 for reel shaft having a reel cap 2 via a friction table 3 and a friction plate 8. While a transmission wheel 13 is supported by a shaft at the center part of a rotary lever 15 attached 14 to a base plate 11 at its end of one side. Frinction parts 1a, 6a and 13a are formed on the outer circumferential surfaces of said wheels respectively. In a record/reproduction mode the gear 13 is separated. In a rapid traverse mode the lever 15 is pulled by a spring 17 to form a friction transmission system containing the wheels 6, 13 and 1. Therefore the slip is reduced among those wheels in a rapid traverse mode requiring a large take- up load, thereby attaining assured take-up of a tape.</p> |
