<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of jolting and scanty rotation and to improve quality sensation, by a method wherein, in a construction in which a mounting member, located to a central part of a steering wheel, is situated in a non-rotating manner with a steering shaft, an oil reservoir recess part is formed in the tapered surface of a mounting boss part to improve sliding properties of a part to be engaged. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical member 3, having an internal gear 5b formed at a large-sized part 3b, is secured to the end of a steering column 2, and a mounting boss part 9, formed integrally with a spoke 8 of a steering wheel 7, is secured to the end of a steering shaft 1. A ring gear 10, having an internal gear 5a, is engaged outwardly with the mounting boss part 9, a shaft 12, provided at its opposite ends with planetary gears 11a and 11b engaging with the internal gears 5a and 5b, is rotatably supported to the mounting boss part, and a mounting member, such as a pad 19, is attached to a ring gear 10. In which case, a tapered surface, which is beveled internally in the direction of the front, is formed on the mounting boss part 9, and an oil reservoir recess part 9b is formed in such tapered surface, and this prevents scanty rotation of the ring gear 10 and the like.</p> |
