<p>Safety belt winder comprises a lock mounted between the winder housing and winder shaft, and an inert mass, e.g. a ball (6), which effects locking in at least one of three spatial directions on acceleration of the vehicle and which is mounted in a pocket open on one side in a support. The support is in the form of an adjuster cylinder (4) which is rotatable about its longitudinal axis and lockable within an annular holder (2) which is itself rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder and lockable. A locking wheel (5) with peripheral teeth is mounted with its axis coinciding with the main axis of the winder.</p> |
